FORT ORANGE, FL -- Ewartyst (Mel) Mielnik, 77, of South Peninsula Drive died Sunday, October 18, 1998 at his home. A retired Army Colonel, Mr. Mielnik was a veteran of World War II and 30 years of service with the NYS State National Guard and the Army Reserve. He was born in Poland and moved to Florida in 1982.
