Fed: Costello dismisses claims of errors in budget

The Treasurer's rejected a business report that says the federal government's budget
surplus projections are out by an average of 255 per cent.

PETER COSTELLO's told ABC radio the report by the Business Council of Australia is
completely wrong.

His comments come after the government revised this financial year's predicted surplus
to 11.5 billion dollars .. that's 2.6 billion higher than it predicted in May.

Mr COSTELLO says the variation's marginal out of a total budget of 200 billion dollars.
